We are currently holding a continuous sign-up through March 15, 2010 for FY2011 funds. For all
erosion control applications collected by this date, we will prioritize projects based on sheet/rill/gully erosion on cropland
exceeding T (5 tons/acre). Prioritization is based on a point system.
Points are awarded for
- Total acres of cropland brought below "T"
- Dollar cost per acre benefited
- Total tons of soil saved
- Dollar cost per ton of soil saved
- Applications rolled over from previous years
Call or stop in our office to apply! March 15th will be here before you know it!
