Fish Sale
The Knox County SWCD holds annual fish, tree, and prairie seed sales each spring and a second fish sale each fall. Beginning Spril 2008, the Knox County SWCD will be holding a Rain Barrel Sale. Please contact the office for more information.

Hauling Tips for Getting Your Fish Home Safely
  1. Pond water is the best for hauling fish. Well water is acceptable, but does not contain much oxygen. DO NOT bring city water. The chlorine in city water will kill your fish! Collect water on delivery day to ensure sufficient amounts of oxygen.
  2. Go directly to your pond and add your new fish. Bagged fish should be kept out of sunlight on your trip home.
